Trend Spotter: Eye on 2010! (Ring Bowl)

This lovely little piece of personalized art, by Paloma's Nest (as found on Etsy), is arguably a much more stylish keep-sake than the traditional ring bearer's pillow. (However, not recommended for ring bearers under the age of 6- especially if they are processing on marble or something equally dangerous to delicate ceramics! )

Hello! Thank you so much for featuring our Ring Bearer Bowl™. Our company is actually named PALOMA'S NEST;
"paloma" means "dove" in Spanish.

We'd love to clarify a little about our work-

Our pieces are hand made from the finest ceramic clays available and fired in our kiln to temperatures well over 2000˚ F; we use centuries-old traditional techniques so that your piece will remain strong and beautiful for many generations to come.

If you are concerned about your Ring Bearer dropping the Bowl while walking down the aisle, no worries!
In over two years of crafting this design, we have never (knock on wood) heard of a bowl being broken during a ceremony.
Most Ring Bearers, even three, four, and five year olds, take their job very seriously. And most children know to be careful with breakables such as plates and bowls. A silly fluffy pillow is much more fun to throw, anyways!

If you are having a small ceremony or ring exchange, our Ring Bearer Bowl is frequently carried by bridesmaids or groomsmen. The Best Man can even fit the piece in his pocket until asked for the rings, or the Bowl can be held by the officiant or set at the altar during the ceremony.

Thanks again for the feature. Please let us know if you have any questions about our collection!
