Create A Sustainable Registry

SO, Everyone-And-Their-Mother is asking about your gift registry –but you’re thinking outside of the Macy's, Sears, Bed Bath and Beyond box...

How to get what you want and give them what they want?

Try creating your own registry list on your wedding website, and consider including the following:

-Home delivery organic produce: Eat Well Farm (out of Dixon, CA), Guerilla Organics (out of San Francisco, CA), Organic Express (out of San Francisco, CA), Planet Organics (out of San Francisco, CA), Terra Firma (out of Winters, CA), Westside Organics (out of Hayward, CA).

-His and hers National Parks Passes .

-Encourage gifts of services: Have a friend who is a yoga instructor, a builder, a masseur or a seamstress? If your guests know that their talents are welcome gifts, they will be more willing to suggest it!

-Resources for charitable donations:

· Adopt an Acre

· Alternative Gifts International

· Earth Share Charity Gift Card

· Just Give Charity Gift Certificate

· Heifer Project

· Rescue the Reef

· Seva Foundation’s Gifts of Service

· Special Kids Fund Gift Cards & Certificates

· Trees for the Future

· World Wildlife Fund’s Adoption Center

-A gift basket of eco-friendly household goods (green cleaning products, soy candles, organic cotton towels, energy-saver light bulbs.)

-Gardening supplies from Seeds of Change.

-Resources for fair trade goods (if you actually need some tools and gadgets and things!) :

· Fair Trade Federation – Retail Store Member Listings

· Global Exchange Fair-Trade Online Store

· Ten Thousand Villages

· World of Good
